I know that participating in a trail race is a potentially hazardous activity. I enter and run this race certifying that I am medically able and properly trained. I assume any and all risks associated with running this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of extreme weather, animals, and the conditions of the trails. Knowing these facts and in consideration with your acceptance of my entry fee, I hereby for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release, and discharge the organizer of this event Micah Moore, Bonneville Races (DBA Bonneville Backyard Ultra), and any individual and/or organization associated with the trail run; local government and police; volunteers, and any and all sponsors, including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting for or on their behalf, from any and all claims of liability for death, personal injury foreseen or unforeseen, known and unknown, demands, causes of action, orders, decrees, judgements, losses, risk of loss, damages, and expenses. The undersigned further grants full permission to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legal purpose. I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable. The Race Director reserves the right to modify or cancel the race or course for safety concerns, trail condition concerns or natural disaster. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them. (Parent or guardian must sign if applicant is under 18 years of age).
